Do You Know? What Are The Virginia Building Codes For Tiny Houses.

For tiny homes to be in accordance with Virginia Residential Codes it must follow the International Residential Code (IRC).

According to the International Residential Code (IRC) The Tiny Houses Must Follow 5 Points....

1- The Tiny Houses must build on the land which is not less then 320 square feet.

2- Tiny House contain at least 1 room with both a window & a closet.

3- In Tiny House the Ceilings of kitchens, bathrooms must be at least 6’4’’.

4- The  habitable rooms of Tiny house   must have ceilings at least 6’8’’.

5- The tiny houses has square footage that falls within 120 & 400 square feet.

6- The Tiny houses must have emergency escape & rescue openings.
